What Windows Task Manager Won’t Tell You
Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed a dramatic decrease in my system’s performance. It’s actually gotten so bad that I’m starting to think that it somehow became infected with a virus or some other piece of spyware. Proceeding under that assumption, I verified that my anti-virus definitions were up to date and ran a virus scan on the entire system. I also scanned the system using spyware removal tools Ad-aware and Spybot: Search and Destroy; but neither program discovered anything.

Hello and Welcome to my New Blog.
This my first post and I will try to give you an overview about my self and why I started this blog:
I’ve been introduced to web design through the ‘Adult Internet’ side, and began designing web sites beginning summer of 2001. I started with a WYSIWYG program (HomeSite) and real quick forced myself to learn HTML.
I then took a couple of years off as I found my model at the time not profitable enough (I later learned that I just did not know what it meant to be a full time designer…).
In January 2004 I decided apply my experience from my last job and my knowledge as a designer and give this business another shot. I got back into HTML, and started adding the CSS aspect into it. I tryed a few affiliate programs, and soon found out that to be successful at that I had to learn some scripting language that will produce dynamic content on the fly, based on some database. I then started learning PHP, and later added MySQL to the package.
At this point I knew how to produce web sites (even dynamic ones), but for the life of me could not get my sites to rank on the search engines. Offcourse I was using my experience which was raughly 2 years old and did not work.
Search engine optimization was my next stop. I started frequenting the different forums, article sites and any information I could get my hands on. It proved itself. I started improving my own ranking as well as my clients’ rankings. I now do both web design and search engine optimization, and that’s what got me to start this blog.
Getting back into this business I felt like a newbie. Things change everyday, and some ideas are not even covered by the professionals in this business. Although I see a lot of good advice being given at the different forums, I think that some basic things are lacking and a lot of newbies’ get lost in the mix.
In this blog I will try to cober all aspects of the web. Beginning from basic web design skills and up to SEO / SEM. I will try to also touch on PHP & MySQL, VB, JavaScript and CSS (Let me know if you have any special requests…).
Thanks again for checking my site and please come back soon,
